Cory La Roe steps into his new job as director of the Palm Beach Outsiders with big hopes and leads his team to a 3rd place finish at the CFPS Race2-2 in Division 5. An impressive achievement at their very first tournament appearance together. Cory, along with Austin Cowart, Jasper Tatem, Mike "Cheese" Beyer, Max Crespo and Daniel Troian guesting from Venom Kids, played strong all day in the rain to set the bar for their future tournament attendances. Look for the new guys to keep the wins coming in CFPS events this season.
Venom Kids continue to make themselves known in the CFOA Xball series by taking 2nd at Carolina Paintball Park. The boys, lead by Jason Glass, played strong all day in very hostile territory. Traveling to play events normally dominated by the local teams is never easy but they came together and played well beating some very strong competitors. Chris and Josef Fraser joined in with Venom Kids for this event and made an immediate impact with the team. We are glad to have them playing with us for the rest of the season. Justin Bedford and Josef played an insanely clutch point that lasted over 8 minutes to win a match in a 2v2. Jeremey, Daniel, and Jason Eaton got dirty in the snake and played strong all day. David, Jason Glass and Thomas really stepped up to make some big plays and key eliminations in the rush thru the prelims. Nick returns to the team without missing a step and joins Chris supporting the snake side making the front players jobs a little easier. Look for the boys to keep the podium tradition alive for the rest of the CFOA events in the hunt to bring the series title home to Florida this year.
The 2010 season started out right for the Palm Beach organization as Venom goes undefeated to win the 2010 Phoenix Open in Divison One. The boys came together as a crew early and overcame some really tough competition to finish the weekend on top. Venom is coming back strong in Chicago and we fully intend to hang 3 more 1st place plaques and a series title on the wall this season.

Congrats to Venom Kids on their win at CFOA Xball 1 at Central Florida Paintball this past weekend. The finals matcah against Tampa Bay Vengence was amazing. The Kids held out to win the match 3-2 with literally less than a second on the game clock.
